Facilities

With ten factories on four continents, hundreds of showrooms and dozens of office spaces around the world, Interface recognizes that we can’t just manufacture products with reduced impacts, we have to reduce the impacts of our physical locations as well. We are adopting best in class green building and operational standards to reduce our building footprint.

LEED Certified Locations

Interface has several facilities around the world certified by U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification system, a third-party certification program that awards recognition for high performance green buildings.

We are honored that many of our LEED certified facilities were the first to be recognized in their region or category.

Operational Standards

Retail Spaces

Our residential carpet tile business, FLOR, recently opened its first retail stores in Chicago, Santa Monica and New York, with additional stores opening across the United States. FLOR stores offer a unique opportunity to showcase low impact retail space. With input from leading sustainability-minded retail organizations and other experts in green building, FLOR adopted a “less is more” philosophy for store design, including features that reduce energy and water needs and utilize reclaimed materials.
